Course Format

The MPPA program is offered in a weekend format to enable a student to complete the degree in three years, while maintaining regular job responsibilities. The Intensive Semester format is ideal for working students. Classes run for three months, with each class meeting on campus two times for twenty-two hours of weekend instruction. (Classes begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday and run through noon on Saturday.) Students are expected to prepare individual assignments before attending the intensive sessions. Four (4) courses are offered each year. Students may begin the program at the start of any enrollment period.

Grades

At the end of the semester, grades are submitted to the Registrar. A grade report will be mailed by the Registrar to the student. The student also can view his/her grades on the MSU web site at oncampus.msstate.edu. Once on that web site, please select the 'Click here for Your Secured Access' link. Your NetID will be your login and your Netpassword will be the one you have chosen.

The Division of Academic Outreach and Continuing Education cannot release grades directly to students.
