Welcome to the Mississippi State
University Distance MBA Web site. I’m very pleased to introduce
our Distance MBA program to you. Mississippi State University
has the oldest business school in the south, founded in 1915.
We are accredited by the most prestigious accrediting agency,
the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools in Business International.
Our Distance MBA program started in 2001, and has grown since
then to over 150 students.
Succeed Now. In the fast paced world that we
live in, more demands are being placed on all of us. Employers
are demanding more, and employees are expected to perform and
produce at a higher level. So how can you succeed? The College
of Business and Industry at Mississippi State University recognizes
such challenges and has developed a distance education program
tailored for you.
Online education has come of age at MSU. Through
the use of technology you will participate in courses by videoconference
as well as video streaming via the Internet. Complete the entire
program online or join our classes at our Starkville or Meridian
campus.
The Distance MBA program prepares you for leadership.
It includes courses in the areas of Accounting, Economics, Finance,
Marketing, Statistics, Management, Information Systems and a capstone
Strategic Business Consulting Project.
Not sure you have the time to invest in a complete degree? Enroll in one of MSU’s Certificate Programs: Business Administration or Economics of Development.
Our Distance MBA program makes success convenient. You
may enter our flexible program any semester. Courses are streamlined.
Most are taught in eight-week modules that are fast-paced and
intensive. There is the potential to complete an MBA in a two-year
period – very attractive to your already very busy professional
lifestyle.
Please join me, our distinguished faculty and our forward-thinking
students everywhere who are currently earning their MBA through
Mississippi State’s first-class Distance learning program.
You’ll see success too.
