Textbooks:

Textbooks are available at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at Mississippi State University. To order books visit the bookstore online at http://msstate.bkstore.com/ or call 662-325-2247.

Textbook titles may also be found on our website at http://www.distance.msstate.edu/mba/courses.html.  Please select the appropriate semester and course.

When you get to the web site: Click on: Student Services, Textbooks

Click on: Order your textbooks

Step 1: Select Term.

Step 2: Select Department.

Step 3: Select Course number.

Step 4: Select Section.

Note: Ordering textbooks online from MSU's Barnes and Nobles requires the input of a section number.
Section numbers are as follows:
501/511 - Starkville Campus Students
503/513 - Distance MBA Students
505/515 - Mississippi Military Students

For students in sections 501, 502, 503, you may select any of those three sections in the drop down menu, because you will be using the same books.

For students in sections 505, 511, or 513, if your section is not listed in the drop down menu, do not select any other section without confirming the textbook title with the instructor or Tamra Swann prior to ordering.

Step 5: Continue.

Step 6: Add books to Cart.

Step 7: Select another course if you have other books to order.

Step 8: Checkout.

If you do not see your textbook at the bookstore, exit the site and go to the Distance MBA website. Find your course listing under Available Courses http://www.distance.msstate.edu/mba/courses.html and make sure you have the right course code, number, professor and section. Return to http://msstate.bkstore.com/ and try again. If you still don’t see your book and it is only two weeks or less from start of class, contact the Tamra Swann for the name of the book.
