Aid & Scholarships
Visit and fill out the online FAFSA application at: www.fafsa.ed.gov. You should apply each year as soon as possible, after January 1st, for the upcoming school year.
Please note: Financial aid is not available to unclassified students. Classified students with questions regarding financial aid should direct all financial aid questions to Betty Yeatman. Contact information is listed below.
Important requirements:
Make sure you return the signature page within
14 days or you will have to start the application process over.
You must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours
of graduate courses during the semester you will be receiving
financial aid.
What happens after your application is submitted?
Approximately 30% of all applications each year
will be selected by the processor for a process of review called
verification. If your application is selected, you will be notified
and you must submit the following documents to the Department
of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships at MSU:
1. Signed copy of your (and your spouse's, if married) Federal
Income Tax Return.
2. Signed copy of your parents' Federal Income Tax Return (if
you were required to apply as a dependent student).
3. Completed Federal Verification Worksheet.
