For full admission to the MBA program in the Mississippi State College of Business, students must complete the process for classified admission.
Admission to the MBA program will require the following:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution;
- A competitive GPA;
- A competitive GMAT score administered within the last 5 years;
- For international applicants, a TOEFL score administered in the last 2 years. An IELTS score can substitute for the TOEFL.
Admission to the MBA program is competitive. Students who do not have undergraduate degrees in Business Administration must complete the basic foundation or prerequisite courses in order to earn the MBA. You must earn a grade of "B" or higher in all of the prerequisites in order to take the subsequent graduate level courses.
Effective Summer 2012, the College of Business will not be able to register any unclassified (non-degree) graduate students in our MBA classes. Please study for the GMAT and apply as a classified MBA or MBA-PM student.
