The Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education at Mississippi State University now offers a Master of Arts in Teaching - Secondary Education for distance learning students. This program is designed for those typically seeking to teach at the 7th -12th grade level.
The MAT-S program is a program that is 36-hour program. Half of this program is offered online. Students learn in a challenging online environment paired with field based teaching experience to shape them into modern educators.
