Applying for a Degree Procedure:
Department of Geosciences
You must have 124 semester hours. Thirty-two of those hours must be upper level courses (3000-4000) from Mississippi State University to fulfill the residency requirement. We can only accept 62 hours from a community college. Your residency at Mississippi State will be satisfied with the Broadcast Meteorology Program curriculum. The following courses are required to obtain a degree from Mississippi State University:
Note: Your Mississippi State GPA must be a 2.0 or higher to graduate. Once the requirements are met and approved by Cindy Wasson complete the following steps: 1. Access the OnCampus Portal.
