American Educational Research Association is concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and evaluation and, by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results. AERA is the most prominent international professional organization, with the primary goal of advancing educational research and its practical application. Its 25,000 members are educators; administrators; directors of research; persons working with testing or evaluation in federal, state and local agencies; counselors; evaluators; graduate students; and behavioral scientists. The broad range of disciplines represented by the membership includes education, psychology, statistics, sociology, history, economics, philosophy, anthropology, and political science.

The Journal of Applied Research a peer reviewed, clinical, medical journal is a "rapid review" publication. It has as its mission the publication in a timely manner fundamental scientific, diagnostic, and treatment knowledge gained from prospective and retrospective research. The sole criteria for publication is scientific accuracy.

The Journal of Developmental Education is published as a forum for educators concerned with the practice, theory, research, and news of the postsecondary developmental and remedial community. Its content focuses on basic skills education and includes topics such as developmental writing, developmental mathematics, reading, tutoring, assessment and placement, and program evaluation. Emphasis is placed on manuscripts that relate education theory to practical teaching and learning, expand current knowledge, or clearly demonstrate impact on the field.

Community College Journal of Research and Practice is located at the University of Alabama's Education Policy Center under the direction of Dr. G. Stephen Katsinas.

Community College Review is published in association with the Department of Adult and Higher Education at North Carolina State University, Carol A. Kasworm, Department Head. It has led the nation for over 35 years in the publication of scholarly, peer-reviewed research and commentary on community colleges. Published quarterly, it welcomes manuscripts dealing with all aspects of community college administration, education, and policy, both within the American higher education system, as well as within the higher education systems of other countries that have similar tertiary institutions. All submitted manuscripts undergo a blind review. When manuscripts are not accepted for publication, we offer suggestions for how they might be revised. The ultimate intent is to further discourse about community colleges, their students, and the educators who lead and work within these institutions.

Community College Times is the biweekly newspaper of the American Association of Community Colleges and provides coverage of community college news and issues – from fundraising, strategic planning, and accountability to current legislation, cutting-edge technology, and institutional development

Community College Week has been the independent source of in-depth information for and about two-year college faculty, administrators, and trustees. Published biweekly, Community College Week's readers include college presidents, chief academic officers, faculty, student-service professionals, librarians, and other educators. In each edition, our readers find news and features not provided by other news sources, including analyses of critical academic trends and issues, vital statistics, technology updates, and employment opportunities.
