MSU now offers PSS 2343 Floral Design Online

The history and appreciation of floral art through exploration of design principles, plant materials, and compositional floral forms. Two hours of lecture. Two hours of studio.

Students are taught basic orientation to floral production, distribution, and perishable care and handling with an emphasis placed on appreciation of floral design for self-expression and life enrichment. Online demonstrations offer insights into the principles and elements of floral design, and hands-on learning materials, shipped directly to the student, give them an opportunity to hone
this distinctive craft. In addition, students will create and keep the designs they make.

For professionals and students alike, this unique course would benefit many study programs, particularly for those majoring in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Interior Design, Public Relations, and many more.
