One bill will be sent for each semester. From the day of registration, a 25-day grace period is given to remit payment to Mississippi State University. After 25 days, a service fee of 1.5% is applied to any unpaid balances. All unpaid account balances must be paid by the last class meeting. If you have questions regarding billing you may call 662-325-2071 or e-mail cashiers@comptroller.msstate.edu.

Prior to registering for any distance learning course, you must:  

• Be admitted to Mississippi State University
• Clear all holds prior to registration, including all bills owed
• Contact your specific department for academic advising
• Obtain departmental approval for any exceptions/changes in program of study/course requirements
• Look up your Net-ID at https://mybanner.msstate.edu/prod/wwbkntid.P_DisplayNetID
• Set-up your Net-Password at http://www.netpassword.msstate.edu

In the event that you do not remember your Net-Password, students should fax in the following information:

1. Photocopy of Drivers license or other picture ID
2. Write out their full name that will be listed in Banner
3. Net ID
4. Contact info - phone and email
5. Specify that they need to have their Net Password reset.

After the account has been reset, you must go to http://netpassword.msstate.edu in order to set new passwords.

In the event that you misplace your Registration Access Code (RAC), email a request to help@aoce.msstate.edu .
