Registration

Registration Billing

One bill will be sent for each semester. From the day of registration, a 25-day grace period is given to remit payment to Mississippi State University. After 25 days, a service fee of 1.5% is applied to any unpaid balances. All unpaid account balances must be paid by the last class meeting. If you have questions regarding billing you may call 662-325-2071 or e-mail cashiers@comptroller.msstate.edu.

 

Pre-Registration Steps

Prior to registering for any distance learning course, you must:

In the event that you do not remember your Net-Password, students should fax in the following information:

1. Photocopy of Drivers license or other picture ID
2. Write out their full name that will be listed in Banner
3. Net ID
4. Contact info - phone and email
5. Specify that they need to have their Net Password reset.

The fax is 662-325-1832.

After the account has been reset, you must go to http://netpassword.msstate.edu in order to set new passwords.

In the event that you misplace your Registration Access Code (RAC), email a request to help@aoce.msstate.edu .

 

 

Classified Students' Registration Steps

Distance learning students who are admitted into a specific program of study may register online as follows:

  1. Go to https://oncampus.msstate.edu
  2. Enter your Net-Id and Net-Password
  3. Click on Log-In
  4. Click on the Banner Tab
  5. Under Registration, click Register for Classes
  6. From the term selection drop down list, select the appropriate term and click Submit Term
  7. The first time you access registration, you will be prompted to enter your Registration Access Code (RAC), which is found in the upper right corner of your Student Enrollment Agreement. On subsequent registration sessions during the registration period, the system will ask you to enter only your Net-ID and Net-Password.
  8. To add a class, enter the course symbol, number, and section (i.e., EDF 9373-501) and click Add Class. You may also search for open classes or view your schedule in this window.
  9. To drop a class, click Drop Class beside the class you wish to drop
  10. Print your schedule by selecting Print at the top of the page when your schedule is displayed on the screen. Be sure to change the print to landscape.
